How Affiliate Links Work
Using an affiliate link does not add an extra cost to your qualifying purchase.
You Click a Link
You click an eligible product or retailer link on Dog Toy Choice.
You Visit the Retailer
The link takes you to Amazon or another third-party retailer.
You Make a Purchase
If your purchase qualifies under the applicable program rules, a commission may be generated.
You Pay No Extra Fee
The affiliate relationship generally does not increase the price you pay for the product.
Where You May Find Affiliate Links
Affiliate links may appear in different parts of Dog Toy Choice, including:
Product Reviews
Individual reviews and product comparisons may contain links to retailers.
Product Recommendations
Helpful product suggestions may link to participating retailers.
Buying Guides
Some guides may include links to products discussed in the article.
Other Website Content
Affiliate links may also appear elsewhere when relevant to the content.
How We Identify Affiliate Links
When appropriate, affiliate links may be accompanied by a short disclosure such as “paid link”, “affiliate link”, or another clear explanation that the link may generate a commission.
We aim to place disclosures where readers can notice them in connection with the relevant recommendation or link. This is important because a disclosure should not require readers to search through another page to understand a financial relationship.
Affiliate Commissions Do Not Guarantee a Positive Review
Our goal is to provide useful information about the products we cover, not simply to encourage every visitor to buy.
We Consider Pros & Cons
Product discussions may include both useful features and limitations so readers can make their own decisions.
Dogs Are Different
A product that works well for one dog may not be appropriate for another due to differences in size, chewing, or play style.
We Aim to Add Context
Our content is intended to help readers understand where a product may fit rather than presenting one universal choice.
Your Decision Matters
We provide information and recommendations, but the final purchasing decision belongs to you.
Does Using an Affiliate Link Cost You More?
Generally, no. When you purchase through an eligible affiliate link, the retailer’s price is not increased simply because you used our link. If a qualifying transaction generates a commission, that commission is paid to us by the applicable affiliate program according to its terms.
Third-Party Websites
Affiliate links may take you away from Dog Toy Choice and to Amazon or another third-party retailer.
Once you leave our Website, your interaction with that third-party website is governed by its own terms, policies, pricing, availability, and privacy practices.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for changes to their products, prices, availability, policies, or services.
Product Prices, Availability & Specifications
Product prices, availability, specifications, colors, sizes, and other details can change over time.
For the most current product information, please verify the details on the retailer’s website before making a purchase.
Free Products, Discounts & Other Compensation
If Dog Toy Choice receives a free product, discount, payment, sponsorship, or another material benefit in connection with content, that relationship may be disclosed where required.
We will not describe a product as personally tested or claim a personal experience with a product unless that representation is accurate.
Why Transparency Matters to Us
Affiliate marketing helps support the website, but our purpose is still to create useful content for dog owners.
Useful Information First
Our content is created to answer real questions about dog toys and help readers compare their options.
Clear Relationships
We want visitors to understand when a link may result in a commission.
Dogs Come First
The right toy depends on the individual dog, so we avoid treating one product as the perfect answer for everyone.
A Note About Our Recommendations
Our recommendations are intended to provide general information and help you compare products. Dogs differ in size, age, chewing behavior, temperament, and play style. Always consider your individual dog’s needs and follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using a dog toy.
